Inside the Shadow

A brand new day. Another one has come, so many, one after the next.  For them all to fade into one, is a shame.  Each day is special, each day is different  ~ “seize the day” ~  If we fail to seize it, it soon  shall pass, and like everything else, become just another shadow.  A faulty memory.  Each day, there is the possibility of new beginnings, and new starts.  A chance for happiness and sadness ~  excitement and tedium.   Inside sadness’s shadow, you may be surprised to find the joy that you have been seeking.

        In the great search for happiness,

                                   don’t fail to see what you already have,

                                                                    and Enjoy it.

So is a Rose, Just a Rose?

Onward again to snip stems and peel away damaged petals. So is a rose just a rose. Apparently not. There are many different types. Not only that, but some have the most decadent scent, while others none at all. There are red, pink, lavender, and so on. Some stems are red hued, while others are green. Some thick and sturdy, while some are thin. Some come damaged, while others arrive in perfect condition.  Each and every one is unique, and it’s own. So, is a rose, just a rose?  A  person, just a person? Nope, definitely not. Its the little things, the small details in some cases, that makes each and every one so special. If we open our eyes and minds to the small stuff, we’ll see the entire picture – Instead of living our lives as a summary of all that there is.
